I'm trying to cause the destruction of an empire-level title (say Byzantine Empire), to create the Latin Empire organically instead of starting with it. As ERE is (still) large, conquering all of it would take enough time, and I already fulfill the other requirements to form the Latin Empire.

What would be an efficient way to destroy the title without too much war effort? One solution I was thinking about is taking away all county-level holdings from the current emperor through wars, but I'm not entirely sure it will work, and it would take some years to get to that point with the current state of affairs.
Taking away all county level holdings of the current owner will not work, since he will just claim some from his vassals. You need to take over Every Single Territory owned by him, without taking the title. Once the title does not have any counties under it, directly OR indirectly, it should be destroyed and will allow you to create the latin empire.
The wealth cost decreases with piety (down to half price at 1000 piety). The "Become King" ambition halves both the gold and piety cost when creating the kingdom. Titular titles cost twice as much to create, but only require that you hold the capital.
Nomadic and tribal rulers can pillage settlements they own. This destroys two random buildings and gives wealth/manpower/techpoints. Once all buildings are destroyed, the settlement is destroyed as well, creating more space for grazing or tribalism. AI rulers will only pillage tribal holdings (they will leave castle/city/temple alone). Completely destroying all holdings in a province while being diligent or gardener will increase population growth rate by 8% and manpower growth by 10% for 10 years. (This modifier is useless for a tribal ruler)

I haven't rolled back and so far the only thing that's hampering gameplay is that I can't find a way to destroy special titles. For expample 'kingdom under jon' or 'sansa's flight'. Is there a way for me to destroy those titles myself (console or document editing)?
Baelish as Lord Paramount of the Vale seems to mess some things up for me in terms of succession there - maybe the Lord Paramount could be the same and Baelish could be regent? Unless there is some reason this cannot work - just a suggestion. I also find I can't delete Jon or Sansa's temporary titles (and therefore can't bring Sansa back to court) after he wins. I there a way this can be fixed, or am I going about it wrong? Thanks for the cool mod! 2ff7e9595c
